Chapter 1
It was five o´clock in the morning. Mr Sparkless was having a lovely sleep. But suddenly his phone rang.
``For goodness sake, which person in the whole universe will call anybody at five o´clock in the morning, we are in 2011, really some people are just mad.´´ Mr Sparkless picked up the phone.
`` Hello´´ he said with a weary voice.
`` Hi Sparkless, im Franklin, you know your boss.´´
``Oh, yes, hehe… ehm… w-what do you want.´´
`` Sorry for the hour but, there´s been a crime.´´
`` A crime, where?´´´ said detective Sparkless.´´
``In the park where ehm… the fountain is.´´
``I know. I get there in one second.´´ The Detective Sparkless threw the phone, got his jumper and went downstairs very quickly.
Chapter 2
When the Detective Sparkless reached the park he went directly to Mr Franklin.
`` Hi Sparkless.´´ said Franklin
`` Yes, yes, hi, where is the body?´´
`` The victim is called Jake Morson. As you can see by the blood on the ground, they have killed him in a different place and brought him to the park´´ Mr Franklin announced to Sparkless.
`` I see, is there any fingerprint on the body?´´
```We think that not, but we are going to send it to the laboratory.´´ Mr Franklin said.
``Ah, okay.´´
`` Sparkless, I think you should be the boss of this crime investigation´´ Mr Franklin told Sparkless.
``You mean… you mean… that.´´
``Yes Sparkless you are the one that is going to get to the bottom of this mystery.´´
``Oh, thanks, thanks, thanks Mr Franklin.´´ Detective Sparkless was overjoyed.
``Sparkless can you calm down and start to be a professional´´ shouted Mr Franklin.
``Yes, yes sorry´´ said very ashamed Detective Sparkless. Then he went to find his helper Miss Lisa.
``Oh, Lisa there you are.´´ Miss Lisa was talking to one of the police.
``Lisa, Lisa we are the ones that are going to investigate this mystery.´´ Detective Sparkless said.
``I know, I know Mr Franklin told me´´
``Ah, okay, good´´
``Why don´t we go to bed and we met here at nine o´clock.´´ suggested Miss Lisa
`` Yes, I think it´s a good idea.´´ agreed Detective Sparkless.
`` Well until then´´ said Miss Lisa. And they went al to sleep.
Chapter 3
At nine o’clock Miss Lisa was waiting at the park. Detective Sparkless was late, what a surprise.
``Lisa, Lisa hi, I’m here´´ said Detective Sparkless while he was running to Miss Lisa.
```Where you were?´´ Miss Lisa asked.
``Sorry, I slept, but hey, I’m here now´´ answered Detective Sparkless.
``Right…, ehm, Jake Morson lived in a apartment so we should go and visit his neighbours. For now, all of them are specious´´ suggested Miss Lisa.
``Yes you are very right Lisa. Why don’t we go to Miss Rachel’s apartment first.´´
``Yes I agree.´´
Toc…toc…toc Detective Sparkless knocked on the door. A woman opened the door. She was young with blond hair and a lovely smile.
``Hi I’m Miss Rachel, can I help you?´´
```Yes I’m the Detective Sparkless and this is my helper Miss Lisa.´´
``Hi.´´said Miss Lisa
``We have come to inform you that one of your neighbours has been killed. His name is Jake Morson and we need to ask you some questions.´´
``Oh no, Jake has been killed, oh… we were really good friends.´´
``If you don’t mind, can we come in.´´Miss Lisa asked nicely.
``Yes of corse.´´
``Our doctors have said that Jake died in between 11:00 and 01:00 in the morning where you were in between those times.´´
``I was sleeping, of corse´´ answerd Miss Rachel.
``Can somebody confirm it?´´ Lisa said.
``No, sorry, anybody watch’s me sleep.´´
``Okay thanks.´´ Detective Sparkless said.
But when they were going something caught Detective’s Sparkless attention. It was a knife dirty with some kind of red stuff. Miss Rachel realized and said:
``Oh, I have been doing toasts and I have put strawberry jam on them.´´
``Ah, o-kay´´ said the Detective Sparkless thinking that Miss Rachel will might be a bit suspicious. Miss Rachel went with them to the door.But when they said goodbye to each other Miss Rachel was a bit strange.
``Let’s go and see Miss Rita´´Miss Lisa said.
``Okay´´ Detective Sparkless agreed.
But through the way to Miss Rita’s apartment both of them were thinking if Miss Rachel will be the murderer.
Toc…toc…toc. Suddenly they heard Miss Rita talking.
``You are going to pay for this Marley. How dare you to come to my house and try to steal from me. Want to say your last words?´´ But then Miss Rita heard Mr Sparkless knocking on the door. The door opened.
``Hello´´ said Miss Rita nervously.
``Hi, I’m the Detective Sparkless and she is Lisa.´´
`` We have come because one of your neighbours has been killed´´ said Miss Lisa.
``Oh no, who?´´
``Jake Morson.´´
``If you don’t mind, can we ask you some questions?´´ asked the Detective Sparkless
``Yes of corse, come in please.´´ All of them sat in the sofa.
``Miss Rita where you were in between 11:00 and 01:00 in the morning?´´
`` In my nocturne drama class.´´
``Can somebody confirm it?´´ Miss Lisa asked.
``Yes my teacher, but,oh, he has gone on holadays.´´
``Is there any video camera?´´``Ehm…no´´
``Okay, it’s enough for now´´ Miss Lisa said.
``Bye Miss Rita.´´
``Bye Detective Sparkless, bye Lisa.´´ When they had gone they started to talk.
``Who do you think is more suspicious Miss Rachel or Miss Rita?´´ asked Miss Lisa
``I don’t know.´´
``Well, me neither, why don’t we go and see Mr Robinson?´´
``Okay.´´
Toc…toc…toc
``Hi, can I help you, I’m Mr Robinson.´´
``Hello my name is Detective Sparkless and my helper Lisa.´´
``We have come because Jake Morson have been killed and we need to ask you some questions, can we come in.´´
``Yes, of corse.´´
``Do you want some tè?´´
``No thanks, well, were you were in between 11:00 and 01:00?´´
``I was in my friend’s house.´´
``Can your friend confirm it?´´
``Yes I can call him now if you want?´´
``Okay, call him.´´ Mr Robinson got the phone and marked the number.
``Hi Steve Im Robi ehm… I need you to confirm that I was in your house last night.´´
``Yes of corse last night you were at my house until 02:00 in the morning.´´
``Thanks, thats all.´´
``Okay, good bye thanks for your time Mr Robinson.´´
When they just step out of the apartment suddenly Detective Sparkless phone rang. Miss Lisa could not hear what the other person talking, she could only hear Detective Sparkless saying:
``Oh,hi.´´
``Aha…aha´´…
When Detective Sparkless hung up the phone Miss Lisa asked.
``Who was?´´
`` It was from the laboratory, they have found something in the body.´´
``Well let’s go.´´ When the arrived to the laboratory Mr Hanks was waiting.
`` Hi, how are you Sparkless?´´
``Good, thanks.´´
``Look what I found´´ Hank announced. ``We have found half of a fingerprint in the left arm´´ said Mr Hank.
``Half?´´ said strangely Miss Lisa.
``Yes, the murderer must have been wearing gloves, but just those plastic ones that break very easily´´ Hanks respond.
``Have you interrogate all the people?´´ asked Hank.
``No, Hank´´
``Well keep on interrogating and take fingerprints of all everyone´´ ordered Hank.
``Okay´´
``While you do that, I’ll be analyzing the fingerprint´´ said Hank.
After going out of the laboratory they starting interogating people. None of them looked suspicious. The more suspicious for them were Miss Rachel and Miss Rita.Lot’s of days went on and Detective Sparkless could not resolve the mystery.
Chapter 4
He thought that either Miss Rita or Miss Rachel could be the murderer. But he did not have enough proves. But then Detective Sparkless received a phone call. It was from the laboratory they had finish alalyzing the fingerprint.
When they got to the laboratory they just went directly to Mr Hank and asked:
``From who is the fingerprint?´´they said at the same time.
``Im okay thank you for asking´´said Hank sarcasticly.
``The half fingerprint concedes with three people Miss Rita, Miss Rachel and Mr Robinson.´´
``Hmm…´´said Detective Sparkless pensative.
``I think we should call Miss Ritas drama teacher´´ suggested Miss Lisa.
``Yes, why don’t we investigate a bit.´´
They research everything until they got to the answer.
Chapter 5
Detective Sparkless call to Miss Rita, Miss Rachel and Mr Robinson.
``Hi, I have call you because one of you three is the murderer. And I know who´´ Detective Sparkless announced.
``Miss Rita we have manage to call your drama teacher, he has confirm that you were there that night´´ said Miss Lisa.
``Miss Rachel you are not the murderer because… Mr Robinson, is the murderer´´ kept on Detective Sparkless.
``And now, how do we know, easy, when the murderer moved the body to the park he was wearing gloves. And Mr Robinson I can remember that in your apartment there were a pair of gloves dirty with some red thing. For one moment when I visit you and I saw those gloves I thought you were the murderer but then I saw a red cupboard beside it and, I thought , you were painting. But that was only a coincidence, it was really blood.And the phone call to your friend was just a trick you played on us´´ Detective Sparkless said smartly.
``Now Mr Robinson put your hands behind your back we are going to handcuff you. Go in the car now please.´´ Andd Mr Robinson went to prision.
Few weeks later Detective Sparkless went to visit him but, he was not there…
