They were running through the trees in a sledge. They fell off it. Julia fell to one side, she was a girl, 7 years old, Sally didn’t fall off, but Ana did. The three were of the same age. Ana was a black girl. They all went to the same school. 

It was getting dark, so they went to Ana’s house. Then Ana made some necklaces for her friends. The necklaces had some photos in them. Ana’s mum called them for dinner, Julia had to call her father by telephone . . .

“Dad can I stay at Ana’s house for dinner?” Julia said.

“No, come home, it’s very late.”

The next day they went to school. They were going to do a show of Andalucía. Julia had problems talking in front of her class. So Julia’s parents talked with the teacher so hat Julia could present the show. When the class did the rehearsal, Julia had to present the show, but she couldn’t do it . . .

“We-we-e-e, a-ar-e-e.” She said.

She couldn’t talk in front of the class. Ana and Sally told her that she could do it.

“You can if you try.” Ana said.

Then Ana and Julia argued, Julia got the crown that Ana had on her head and threw it to the floor, and she stamped on it and took it home.

It was going dark. It was time for bed. Before going to bed, she put some sticky tape to the crown. Julia couldn’t sleep so she had to go downstairs. Their parents were talking about Ana and her mum. Julia’s dad was a policeman and the police had to know everything. They were talking about Ana and her mum, that they had to go from their house. So Julia put her coat on and went running to Ana’s house. When she got there Ana was not there, Julia found a card that said:

I’m with my mum and I am safe. Please don’t tell anybody, you can only tell Sally. I am in the country.

So she went back home. Julia had to tell her dad, because he was a police man. The next day Sally came to Julia’s house. Julia told her what had happened. Sally had an idea.

“Tonight we can go in the train that takes us to the country.” Sally said.

So that night they put their coats on, the gloves and then they got the sledge and went through the road of snow. They got to the station just on time.

“I told you! We could make it!” Sally said.

“Yes, but now we have a long time in the train, so let’s put our pyjamas on” Julia said.

They were very happy. They slept on the train.

When they were there, they got a bus, the police were trying to get them, so they ran. When they got there, Ana and her mum were there, they opened the door. Sally, Julia and Ana were very happy. The police came, so the jumped through the back door and escaped. Ana, Julia and Sally went to the library. They were talking, but suddenly Sally told Ana that Julia had told her father all about the information of the card.

Ana and Julia argued again, so Julia got up and went out of the library. She ran to the station, but Ana’s mother stopped her. The police got Ana’s mum. And Julia ran to the library to tell Sally and Ana.

The three of them stayed in the library to sleep.

It was 9:01 and at 9:20 the parliament opens, we could go there, and talk with the parliamentarians to asked them that if Ana and her mother could stay there.

So, when the library had opened they ran into the parliament. There was a man that only allows in the people that work there. So they came out. They saw a group of singers of their age going through, so they went with them. They sang a song and suddenly they saw the police and the three ran. Julia opened a door. In the room there were all the parliamentarians. They got Ana and Sally but they didn’t get Julia. The Julia’s necklace fell to the floor.

Then Julia went to the microphone and tried to say something, but she couldn’t , so she went down the three stairs and saw the necklace. She opened it and saw the photo with her two friends and her, so she got up the stairs and said:

“Sorry, but I am a girl of 7 years old, my friends and me are friends forever.”

“So, please, can you let my friend and her mum stay in here?” Julia said.

The parliament said that maybe they could stay.

Sally and Julia went back home.

The next day Sally and Julia went to school and they had the show.

Julia had to present it.

“Welcome to this show: Andalucía”. She said.

Suddenly Sally and Julia saw that Ana came into the room and the three of them hugged. Sally gave the crown to Ana and they started to play the show.

The show ended and Sally, Ana and Julia went outside to play with the snow.

They all were so happy  that the said at the same time:
