Some Random Story, by Jack Pepa

People think I´m a troubled kid

Look I never wanted to be a Demigod.
And if you are reading this and you think you are a god or a demigod, my advice would be; close this book at ones, and buy every lie your parents tell you and try to live a perfectly normal life.
Now that I have told you that, I’ll get on with the story...
I’m Georgia Grace.I’ve been sent to boarding school my whole life,(I mean literally) and I only see my mother in summer holidays and Christmas holidays. But it’s not just any old boarding school, no, it’s a boarding school for troubled kids. Like me(well at least that’s what people think.)
People think I am a troubled kid because I have dyslexia and ADHD.
I have never met my dad before, so my mother cared for me since I was I little baby. My mother married this filthy man who is called Randy, I don’t understand why my mother married that horrible man. He doesn’t care about me, or my mother. He just invites his friends when he wants to orders pizza and has a beer (he doesn’t have a job).
So my mother is surely suffering with that horrid man.
Well in school I am surrounded by bullies like: A boy who is called John, the dining room ladies, the older girls...
I ask myself every single night:
Am I supposed to be here? Has fate put me here for a reason, or have people made a mistake?
I have a dormitory partner who is called Isaac. He’s my only friend. All the rest of the people, ignore me, walk away or even make my through up at lunch when they are bored. So basically I only have one friend.

WHAT ON EARTH IS HAPPENING?!?!

It’s coming to the end of boarding school.
John started pulling my hair, as usual, and certainly embarrassing me in front of the wholeclass.
‘What an ugly, yucky, disgusting face you have, Georgia’ John shouted. So obviously all the kids laughed.
‘Leave her alone,’ Isaac protested.
‘Shut up!’  I mumbled. ‘You’re making it worse!’
‘Sorry,’ he whimpered.
After that we all went to class, and my maths teacher started talking about discipline (again).
Of all the teachers she is the worst, much more boring than Mr Evan (and that is really hard to reach). Oh! By the way she is called Mrs Fenta.
Yesterday she told us about a play they are putting on next week. She gave us each a letter like this one:

Wednesday 5 May 2013

PLAY!!!
Dear students:
There is a play coming up. The play will be presented in the gym. Day: Sunday 8 may.
It will be done at: 10:30am-2:00pm
P.S: Teachers are the actors.
From: principle Felix

Today is the day, the… play. At 10:00am we were already seating ourselves. My class was the very first to seat, so I was there waiting for aches.
10 minutes before the play started…
‘I’m bored start the show, I’m bored start the show,’ Isaac started mumbling. Then he started saying it louder and louder and louder, until he was shouting his head off.
‘We are bored start the show, we are bored start the show…!’ the whole school started joining in.
After ten minutes with people shouting that, the show started.
Meanwhile the show was on kids started booing, including me, it was because what the ``actors´´ were doing was singing horribly (I mean nobody can sing worse than them.) The only teacher that was not in the play was my Latin teacher Mr Vascuez, I don’t blame him for two reasons: one, he uses weal chairs and second, because he doesn’t want to look like a fool in front of everyone.
But then, at the spur of the moment Mrs Fenta started growing and her clothes were ripping apart.
Suddenly I saw her change in to a serpent. No, not that! Now you could see she was half bull, half serpent.
Ophiotaurus!!!Mr.Vascuez shouted. ‘Abandon the gym.’
Everybody screamed. But Mr. Vascuez winked at me. After that Isaac and I exchanged nervous looks.
Come to me, Georgia,’ the beast hissed. ‘Come to me and be my dinner… I mean be my companion’.
I felt stiff, I couldn’t move, so that thing (still don’t know how to pronounce it. I mean seriously who can pronounce ophiotaus… or… ofitous?)came closer.
Isaac sprinted and in a dash we were out of the gym leaving ophitas… whatever you get the point. But of course it followed us.
All of the sudden I felt better, but unfortunately I was face to face with a three metre monster. However I felt a sword in my hand, and there was.
I closed my eyes and I waved the blade hoping it would kill the monster.

My friend is part animal!!!

When we went to class I had Latin and I tried to askMr Vascuez a million questions but my mouth would not move, it was nom.
After reses I went up to Mr Vascuez and asked him.
‘Can I have a word with you, Mr Vascuez?’
‘Of course you can.’
So we went into the teacher’s room.
‘What the heck happened in the gym?’
He said nothing.
‘Please answer,’ I begged
‘What are you talking about, there was just a play, and that is it.’
‘Just leave it.’
When school finished I was in my dormitory and I heard the principle call my name to see me in his office. So I went.
‘Surely you know why you are hear, Mrs Grace. You were the cause of the destruction, so obviously, you are expelled,’ the principle said joyfully.
‘But... Fine,’I sighed.
Isaac asked me if he could come with me on the bus and I said yes.
In the journey I didn’t recognize the way but I thought it was because I was tired. The last thing I remember was falling asleep.
When I woke up I was in a boat, I saw my mom and Isaac talking with worried faces.
‘Mom… Isaac… What are you doing?’
‘Dear, I have something to confess, I’m not a human, I’m Athena. Goddess of Wisdom in human form,’ my mother whispered.
‘I’ve got something to say to, Georgia. Look… I have got hooves.’
‘You are a talking horse?’ I asked in concern.
‘What are you talking about?’ He said offended. ‘I’m a satyr!!! I can’t believe you thought I was a horse.’
He started crying as softly as he could.
I remembered from Latin that a satyr was a half human, half goat.
‘Well, where are you taking me.’
‘To Olympus’ he sniffed
‘What the heck is that!’ I asked feeling awkward.
‘You’ll see’ my mother added.
There was silence. After a few minutes the boat stopped.
‘You’ll need this’ She said. ‘I’ll guide you through the way, I promise.’
So my mum took us to a type of mansion and parked there.
‘Fare well’ my mum mumbled.
‘Let’s go’ Isaac said.
We went to the top of the mansion but there was no door. I was wondering how we were going to get in. Isaac was totally calmed and he just walked into the wall and disappeared. Then I heard Isaac’s voice yelling at me to run into the wall.

What am I?
‘Run, Georgia run,’ Isaac said alarmed.
‘Why?’
‘Because you are not yet in Olympus,’ he yelled. ‘they can still capture you. Hurry!’
‘What about you?’
‘I’ll be fine, they want you.’
‘Who?’
‘Oh, just Kronos and his minions.’
‘Why are they after…?’
Isaac stopped me by pointing behind me and when I turned there was a ten metre man with a dozen minions double my size.
‘We want you because you are the daughter of two powerful gods, and you did not know it,’ a deep voice said.
Then they all laughed.
‘Leave her alone,’ Isaac yelled bravely. But then backed off.
We sprinted as fast as we could up the passage way. Trying not to get caught by them. I was trying to catch my breath too.
‘Why did you escort me if I am a god and you only escort half-bloods?’
‘Because you are the goddess of animals and trees.’
‘Ohhh’ I added. ‘But you must go I will make it’
‘But…’
‘Go, orders of the goddess Georgia, me.’
‘Nooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!’ somebody cried.
