The Mystery of the Cave, by Anonymous

Introduction

Hi, my name is Max, I am 13. I was at home watching TV with mum and dad, when suddenly John called on the phone.

“Do you want to go to the forest with Marco and me?”

We went there and found a cave and entered it. In that moment it all began.

Chapter 1

“Riiiing!” 
“Hey, how are you doing men?” 
”Good” 
“Oh, hi Max. How are you?” 
“Oh, good I am going home ok” 
“See you later” 
I took my bicycle and went home.

“Hello mum” 
“Oh, hi Max? Do you have homework?” 
“No” 
I took the TV remote and switched on the TV. Mum was sitting next to me. 
“Can you put the news” she said. 
I didn’t know what to answer. In that precise moment “Riiiing!”The phone called. It was John.

“Hello Max, do you want to go to explore the forest with Marco and me? We might find Rubies.” 
“Don’t say nonsense,” I said  "but I will go.” 
“It will be fun” I said.

2 hours later we were there .The three alone in the forest. We looked for interesting things for 1 hour. 
“I got it!” 
“What? When?” I said. 
“Here! I found a cave!” 
“Wow, it’s an enormous cave!” 
“I agree with you.” We entered the cave. It was very dark. 

“Hey, it smells bad”. John was right, it smelled like sulphur. 
“Hey John, have you licked my arm?” 
“No!” 
“Oh”. 
We kept on walking. “Hey Max, have you tried to kick my ass? 
“No Marco, switch on the matches”.

Suddenly all lit up. We were surrounded by cannibals. 
“Ahhhhh” we shouted 
We all started to run the fastest we could 
“We have a big problem” 
"Yeah”

We got home. I phoned  John.

“I think the monsters were protecting something” 
“Yeah, I agree with you” 
“Tomorrow we go to inspect with Marko. 
“Ok”.

Chapter 2

The next day we went to the mountain to inspect. We found the cave and we entered. “Hey, we made well in bringing these tourches” 
“Yeah” 
“Hey, the cannibals aren’t here” 
“Maybe they are looking for you, to eat you” 
“Hey!” 
“Ha, ha, ha!” we laughed. 
“Hey, what’s that that shines?” 
“It’s like a door” said MarKo” 

It was locked. Suddenly the door started to talk. 
“Say the correct password and you will enter this enormous word” 
“Can you tell us the password?” asked John in a girlish way. 
The door said “No!” 
“Hey, there is a hole that takes you to this world” said the door. We entered 
“You can’t enter that way!” said the door. 
“It’s amazing” “Wait for me?” I said. 
“No, a dragon! “ 
“Ahhhhh” we said. 

The dragon slowly got us from the T-shirt, lifting us up from de floor. 
"We’re going to die!!” 
“Mummy!” 
The dragon took us to his cave. He left us in his nest and went flying. 
“What are we going to do?” 
“We can’t get out of here.” 
“Look there is a hole in the nest” 
We got out of the nest. 

“Ok, we got out of the nest but now, what do we do?” 
I leaned myself onto a rock. That rock got out of the wall and a door behind the wall opened. 
“Wow what’s happening?” said John. 
We entered the door. 
“Wait it´s dark there.” 
“So what.” 
“We have to make a tourch.” 
“Ok” 
“But don’t waste too much time.” 
“OK” 
“Give me a branch of that tree, Marko.” 
“Here you have.” 
“Thanks” 

Inside the door there was an enormous hole, but it had a bridge made of dinosaur skeleton. 
“How scary.” 
“Oh oh.” 
 “It is incredible!” 
“I like it.” 
“Well, we cross or what” 
“Ok” we said. 
“Hey I’m seeing a light.” 
“Run!!” 
“Wow, I didn’t know there were dinosaurs in the earth.” 
“Me neither.” 

We entered to that magic world. 

“Roah!!!!, Ruh,” 
“Ah!, I’m scared”. 
"Don’t worry, he is asking us to go and ride on him." 
“Uff!, I thought he wouldn’t be so friendly.” 

The dinosaur took us to his nest where we played with his baby dinosaurs for two hours. 

“Oh sorry it’s very late, we have to go home.”
Later, the dinosaur took us home. 

“Hello Mum, hello Dad.” 
”Why are you so late Max?” 
”Oh, I was with John and Marco." 

I called John. 
“Hi John, tomorrow we’ll go with the dinosaur, okey? I need to check something."
